Pesto is hands down my favorite summer time recipe. I love going to the farmer's market, buying a huge bunch of basil, and turning it into this super delicious supper.
Here's how to do it:
In a food processor, mince
3 small cloves of garlic,
the leaves of a bunch of basil, washed and dried,
a handful of toasted pignoli nuts (almonds or walnuts will also work)
salt and pepper
While the machine is running, drizzle in 1/4 cup of olive oil.
Spoon the contents of the food processor into a bowl and stir in 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Stir into hot pasta.
YUMMMMMMYY!!
