Do or don't: glass architecture.

I was inspired by Top Chef Master's to look more closely at glass structures. 


Did you see this on one of their past episodes? It's the Skywalk over the Grand Canyon. I'm not afraid of heights, but I was getting vertigo just watching the TV. I often forget how strong glass is, but I don't think I'd have the guts to walk out on this.

A benefit of using structural glass is that light is able to come flooding into a space. But, of course, the more glass, the less privacy. Here are some more great glass designs that I love:

This looks like the perfect solution to me! A central glass atrium. I'll take it!
