Our trip to the Tuscan countryside and Rome is less than a week away, and I cannot wait to relax, take in the beautiful scenery, be amongst the history, and dive into some delicious Italian dishes.
I'm sure that I will be overwhelmed with inspiration, and cannot wait to share in some future posts. I see some yummy comfort food Italian recipes in my future:) So why not do a little dining room dreaming?
I LOVE rustic and cozy spaces with hints of glamor. My dream dining room would be a place where I can spend time with family and friends, and nothing looks too perfect.

I'd start by painting the walls a charcoal gray color to warm up the space, and lay down a large geometric rug. I'd have a large rectangular antiqued table flanked with burlap end chairs. Linen slipcovered side chairs will take up the sides of the table, and a coral floral fabric will run the length on the table down the center. Two drum chandeliers will light the room and coral silk drapes will pool under windows on the floor. Finally, a tall china cabinet will be back painted coral to pop the china and serveware stored inside.
This was fun! I'd love to see some of your dream room ideas!
