Italian semolina bread.

Italian semolina bread was first invented on the Italian island of Sardinia as a holiday bread.  While it may be January 5th, who says the holidays are officially over?

I challenge you to try this simple bread recipe from my favorite bread baking book

This bread is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.  The sesame seeds on the outside give every slice a tang.

I love it toasted with butter or with melted cheese and black pepper.
