The mosaic floors in the Sienna cathedral got me thinking about ways to make a big visual impact in a small space.
Antique tile is a colorful way to infuse some character into a splash - prone space. I personally think that a huge surface tiled with a busy pattern can look way to busy, and that the best impact is created by using a small amount of tiles positioned strategically. It'll be better on your wallet, too.
