In the mood for a challenge.

Those of you who know me know that I love to cook.  I’ve never been a big fan of following recipes, and watch the Food Network as a jumping off point.  It’s inevitable that everyone falls into a cooking slump from time to time, and feels the appetite for something new.

Julia Child‘s boeuf bourguignon is the perfect recipe for cooks ready to spend the day in the kitchen…literally.  We started cooking at 3 and ate dinner at 9:30.

You can check out the recipe at http://cooking.knopfdoubleday.com/2009/07/13/julia-childs-boeuf-bourguignon-recipe/

This is a list of a few tools that I think are important to own if you love to cook:
A Le Creuset Casserole Pot
Wooden Spoon
Tongs
Sharp Knife
Epicurean Cutting Board (at least 15″ x 20″)
